We showed kids the game, Legacy of Kain. In it, an ancient vampire continues life by not just killing, but sucking the soul out of his victims. One kid said, “I’ve blown stuff up, shot, stabbed and used tanks. But this is better because it’s beyond death.”

We brought that gallows humor to this assignment in which “Faces of Death” met the “Darwin Awards.”
